Pracuje w Instytucie Historii Sztuki Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego. Swoje zainteresowania badawcze koncentruje na sztuce średniowiecznej, architekturze wczesnopiastowskiej i romańskiej w Polsce w kontekście europejskim, rzeźbą architektoniczną, a także metodologią badań architektury. Współautorka badań palatiów na Ostrowie Lednickim i Gieczu, kierownik badań rotundy św. Mikołaja w Cieszynie i kościoła w grodzie w Gieczu. Współpracowniczka IAE PAN w badaniach kolegiaty św. Pawła w Kaliszu, tetrakonchosu w Zawichoście, wieży w Stołpiu, rezydencji króla Daniela w Chełmie, reliktów baptysterium na Murano czy kościoła S. Maria di Campogrosso na Sycylii. Autorka między innymi: „Rotunda św. Mikołaja w Cieszynie jako dzieło architektury”, w: „Rotunda na Górze Zamkowej w Cieszynie. Badania archeologiczno-architektoniczne 1941-2017”, red. T. The Great Poland palaces of the first Piasts and the imperial residences at Werla and Quedlinburg

The last decade saw the completion of years of verification research in the area of the imperial pfalz in Verla, where the architectural relics of the residential buildings have always been a reference point for the palatium on Ostrów Lednicki. Last year, relics of a quadrifoil structure under the floor of the crypt of the Collegiate Church of St. Servatius in Quedlinburg were also re-exposed. The paper aims to confront the results of this research with the current state of knowledge on Piast residences in Greater Poland and reiterates the question of the influence of two Saxon centres on the early Piast palatiums on Ostrów Lednicki, in Giecz and in Poznań.
